How we get the personal information and why we have it
All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by parents/guardians for one of the following reasons:

To monitor student progress

To collate data to evidence and present student progress

To ensure validity in regards to pupils completing the course

To equip us with any ALN information prior to sessions to allow us to cater for their needs
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

Surveys from teachers to measure character attribute progress

Surveys from pupils to measure character attribute progress

Surveys from instructor to measure character attribute progress
We use the information that you have given us in order to evidence and present student progress.
The information will not be shared with any third party and will be strictly secured by the CELS data controller. Progress data will be shared with the respective schools data controller at the end of the academic year. Progress data may be shared for further promotion of CELS, but all schools and pupils names will be anonymised.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep pupil data for 3 years as evidence of legitimate reporting in regards to the effectiveness of the programme. We will then dispose of your information by destroying all physical and online data held. Any results that are retained will be anonymised.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
